FARO Alternative Investments SCSp SICAV RAIF (“FARO” or the “SICAV”) is an alternative investment umbrella fund managed by Gen II Management Company S.à r.l., an alternative investment fund manager authorized by the CSSF as its external alternative investment fund manager. The SICAV operates at global level with diversified investment strategies, across multiple industry sub-funds, supported by specialized Advisory Companies.
FARO investment strategies span private equity, venture capital, and fintech, and industries include the Real Economy, Innovation, and Fashion, Luxury, and Design.

GOVERNANCE
Gen II management Company S.à r.l. has been appointed as the alternative investment fund manager of the SICAV (the “AIFM”).
The AIFM will provide a number of services in respect of the SICAV and it will be empowered to exercise all of the rights attached directly or indirectly to the assets of each Sub-Fund.
In carrying out its activities, the AIFM will avail itself of the advisory services provided by Faro Value, as Lead Advisor, which will coordinate and supervise the services provided by a number of specialized Advisory Companies that will be involved in relation to each sub-fund.
Within this framework, the advisory process will involve the following Faro Value structures:
Board of Directors
Provision of strategic advisory to the AIFM and control of the investment/divestment opportunities sourced by the Advisory Companies for presentation to the AIFM’s Investment Committee, which is responsible for portfolio management of the assets of the SICAV.
Investment Committee
Composed by FARO Value key people and the key people of each Advisory Company, it assesses investment/divestment opportunities for each sub-fund and deliver analysis to the Board of Directors, including from ESG perspective. Each sub-fund has a dedicated Investment Committee.
Strategic Committee
Composed by selected Business Partners, delivers strategic advices and supports the Board of Directors in carrying on efficiently and successfully the Lead Advisor functions
Next Generation Committee
Composed by a Team of selected under 35 talents, support the Board of Directors with out-of-the-box analysis and strategic thinking to inspire future oriented decisions
